The meso repair cream is an oil-in-water cream combining 2 technologies: Ice cream texture & micro-emulsion. The micro-emulsion emulsifier is derived from behenic acid a saturated fatty acid that is derived from the seeds of the indigenous Amazon tree species, Pentaclethra macroloba. It has emollient and soothing properties, which help to restore the skin’s natural oils and improve overall levels of hydration. In skincare, behenic acid is most commonly used to provide soothing relief for dry and sensitive skin. This sebaceous fatty acids play a role in maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier, thereby
improving moisture-retention and enhancing skin-hydration.
The main emollients are silicone waxes offering excellent skin protection without forming an occlusive film. They have been shown to be effective in protecting and soothing the skin.
